Purchase Order Receipts (PREC) is a Radio Inventory Bridge (RIB) module which allows real time capture of purchase order receipts, generation of GRN records and instant updates to EFACS inventory levels. It effectively mobilises specific functionality of the EFACS program 'poreca.exe', Receive PURCHASE ORDERS.

The standard template allows capture and validation of:

  • Purchase Order Number
  • Purchase Order Item
  • Destination Warehouse
  • Destination Location
  • Quantity

The module fully supports Traceable and Multi location stock, and allows for the updating of EFACS actual costs based on the method defined by EFACS system parameters.

Using the template control available in the RIB Administration interface, user defined templates can be created, prompting the EFACS ERP user for less information pre-completing some of the prompted fields. For example a business process exists which sees that certain Purchase Orders are always received to a cold store location. A template could be created call COLD STORE RECEIPT. When the user access this template the warehouse and location will already be set to the appropriate cold store location and the user would simply be prompted for purchase order and quantity details.
